Getting Started

Getting started is simple: register your business account, purchase AUTOM8-100 devices to distribute to your customers, and start managing tune files through your dashboard. Your customers download the mobile app, connect the device to their vehicle, and you can begin remote flashing.
You need: a registered business account, AUTOM8-100 OBD-II devices for your customers, and your tune files. Your customers need the mobile app (iOS or Android) and a supported vehicle. That's it—no complex setup required.
Click the "Register Your Business" button on our homepage or visit our contact page. Fill out the registration form and we'll set up your dashboard access. Once approved, you'll have full access to manage customers, files, and credits.

General

Our ECU and TCU support list is continuously expanding. Check our Supported Vehicles page for the full compatibility list.
AUTOM8 is built for professional tuning shops and automotive businesses. Our platform helps you manage customers, deliver tune files remotely, and scale your tuning operation without geographical limitations.
You should have knowledge of ECU/TCU tuning and calibration files. The platform itself is designed to be user-friendly—we handle the technical complexity of remote flashing so you can focus on creating great tunes.

Hardware & Setup

Plug the AUTOM8-100 device into the vehicle's OBD-II port (usually located under the dashboard). Open the mobile app, enable Bluetooth, and pair with the device. The app will guide you through linking the vehicle to your account.
Firmware updates are delivered over-the-air through the mobile app. When an update is available, you'll receive a notification. Simply follow the prompts in the app to download and install—no manual intervention required.
The AUTOM8 app requires iOS 13.0+ or Android 10.0+, approximately 100MB of free storage, Bluetooth capability, and an internet connection for cloud features.

Software & Files

All tune files are securely stored in the cloud with enterprise-grade encryption. Your files are encrypted both at rest and in transit, and only accessible to authorized users on your account.
Yes. Upload your own tune files to your business repository. You have full control over file organization, versioning, and which customers can access which files.

Credits & Billing

Credits are used to activate module access on customer vehicles. One credit grants you access to one ECU or TCU module. Once activated, you can flash that module unlimited times—the credit is for the initial connection.
No, credits never expire. Purchase them when you need them and use them at your own pace.
Credits can be purchased through the web dashboard under Billing & Credits. We use Stripe for secure payment processing. Credits are delivered instantly after purchase.

Account & Team
